A Teen/Adult Panel to discuss GLBTQ issues in the African-American Community
November 5, 2011 Questions :
Are you having a problem accepting your child’s sexual identity?
Are you having problems talking to child/teen about sexual issues?
Why is it so hard for the African-American Community to accept GLBQ individuals?
Growin Up and Growin Out (GUGO) aims to provide educational resources to young women who identify with Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and/or Questioning (GLBQ). GUGO will work to help GLBQ young women to build healthy relationships, handle conflict, and obstacles that come with their lifestyle and promote safe and healthy boundaries.
Growin Up Growin Out (GUGO) aims to provide educational resources to young women to help modify cognitive behavior, become self-aware of negative environments, and broaden their view of the world. GUGO will work with young women to help them build healthy relationships, handle conflict and obstacles and create safe and healthy boundaries.
